CONTENT
Uses visual and aural content, this presentation introduces England’s paradoxical sentiments during the first Industrial Revolution. Opening with an explanation of Baroque fugues, it positions the Bach Revival against more Romantic developments in music and painting, illustrating the era’s contrasting values of order and freedom, logic and passion.

HISTORY
This presentation was designed to accompany an 11th grade English class’s study of the Victorian Era.
